Women of Faith

Back Row: Tanya, Sara, Me
Front Row: Stacy, Hillary, Stevie

This is the group of us that went to the Women of Faith Conference in Dallas. Stevie and Hillary are 18 and I am 50. Stacy, Tanya and Sara are in between the "little" girls and me. What a mix. If you had told me a year ago that I would be spending the weekend with these other 5 people, I would never have believed it. Well, let me tell you. These six people needed to be together for that weekend and we will never be the same. God had it all planned for us. We try to tell people stories about our weekend but no one else gets it. You just had to be there. The six of us have something together now that is so special it can't be shared.

Never limit yourselves to groups of people that are in your age bracket. Get out of your box. Those two 18 year old young women taught me a lot. I need all my girlfriends -- age does not matter.

Here's a challenge for you: have lunch or dinner with someone 10 years younger or 10 years older and see what you learn. You will be amazed. Women need each other and age makes no difference when you are WOMEN OF FAITH.
