YOUR CANVAS -- my heart

I am so blessed to have such talented friends in my life. My friend, Candi, is an amazing artist and I have been so blessed to have her paintings on several walls of my home. I am so thankful that she has chosen to bless me and allow my home to be her canvas. I trust her completely. As a matter of fact, she did this last painting while James and I were gone.


As I was thinking about my home being a canvas for a dear one that I love and trust so much, I began to think of another artist and another canvas.

My most precious Lord, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I ask You to be the Artist in my heart today. Give me a clean heart -- make it a fresh canvas for you to take your pallet of colors and begin a new work in me. Paint with Your tender strokes, bold colors of love, compassion, forgiveness, peace, patience and all the other virtues you choose to paint upon my canvas. Today, I want You to paint upon YOUR CANVAS -- my heart. Amen
