Pray for Minnie

I have a person in my life who really needs a touch from God today. Her name is Minnie. She is a client but she is so much more than that. This young woman has a testimony for God that is just amazing. She has been through so much in her life and yet SHE blesses me with such joy every time I see her.

The last time I did Minnie's hair, she shared with me that she was pregnant. She and her husband have two wonderful boys already. She was trying so hard to wrap her brain around a third child. She said, "God just wants me to do this, I guess". She grew to love the idea of having another baby. On the day she was to find out "boy" or "girl" she, instead, found out very disturbing news. After much testing, Minnie was told her baby had Trisomy 18, the condition they had suspected. The baby had already passed.

Minnie is scheduled for labor induction in the morning. She will deliver the baby she has carried for over a week knowing this baby will be gone from her life forever. Oh, the pain she must be feeling. Please pray for this precious family.

Oh my Lord, in the name of Jesus, only YOU know why? There are no words we can speak to this precious family now. Please give them Your peace which surpasses anything we can comprehend. This couple loves You and serves You. They are training their young boys in Your Word and in Your Ways. Help those precious little boys deal with this as they see their mommy in such pain. You are an amazing God that knows the beginning and the end and You know WHY. Though we may never understand, we know that You are in control and we trust You with our lives and our children's' lives. Touch her body and cause this to go quickly and as easily as possible. Help her body to heal and help her mind to heal. Give her Your joy in the midst of this pain. Let her know that it is just not HER trusting YOU, it is YOU trusting HER with this. In Your precious name, Jesus. Amen
