For quite some time now, James and I have been praying for our children. We pray individually for them and we pray specifically for each of them. We belong to a Connection Group through our church. This is something that we have been doing in our group -- praying for each other's children. The Word teaches us that the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous man avails much. If you are concerned or maybe even angry with your children it can be very hard to effectively and fervently pray for them. That is why we need our friends and loved ones to stand in the gap for us. They have no anger, they have no concerns over your children and they can pray objectively, effectively and fervently.
I help to facilitate a Bible Study at my church on Wednesday mornings. One of my precious ladies brought a 31 day calendar entitled "PRAYING FOR OUR CHILDREN". It gives a scripture and a prayer for each day. It was timely.
I feel inspired to use this to do a full month of daily blogs teaching how to pray for our children. Many of you who read my blogs have very small children and some have grown children and, just as I do, have grandchildren who are becoming what we call the age of accountability with the Lord. Some of you have no biological children but you have young people that are in your sphere of influence daily.
Beginning November 1st, I will daily blog through November 30th. I commit to not miss one day. Pray for me as I do this. I feel very inspired and I believe it will bless you tremendously. If you do not have anyone you feel you need to pray for, then pray for our children.
This is mine and James' children. We have no biological children together but we have grandchildren together. Though our children recognize the "step", the grandchildren do not, as evidenced by their use of words such as "cousin", "aunt", "uncle" so freely. James and I have always prayed unity in our family. We may be put together a little differently but it is what it is.

I encourage you to save my blog to your bookmarks or favorites and just read daily beginning November 1. The blogs will be short so it will be an easy read and an easy prayer to pray each day.
I look forward to hearing from you. I truly feel inspired to do this and I am looking forward to seeing what God does for my children and what He will do for your children.
May God bless you as you support me in my mission.
