Day 15 - Generosity
Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
I Timothy 6:17-19 (NIV)
Oh my Precious Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I pray that my children prosper in life, but, most of all, Dear Lord, let my children be rich in good deeds for Your Kingdom. I pray they are generous and willing to share as Your Word instructs us. When they DO gain, let them not be haughty and not build up trust in uncertain times and riches. Let them trust ONLY in You and YOUR promises, Lord Jesus. You are Jehovah Jireh, their Provider. I pray that my children to good things. I pray that they are building a strong foundation built on Your Word. Help them to see their greatest riches in life will be ETERNAL life with You. Amen.
