PRAYING FOR OUR CHILDREN - Day 17

Day 17 - JOY

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life;
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
Psalm 30:15 (NIV)

To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
Isaiah 61:3 (NIV)

You will show me the path of life, in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Psalm 16:11 (NIV)

. . . for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV)

Dear Lord, in the name of Jesus, I ask You to give my children YOUR joy. Help them to realize that even though there are tough times and it may not seem like it is ever going to be OK, it will be because JOY comes in the morning. Let them awaken to YOUR joy. Lord, that they would want to be in Your presence so their joy is full. Teach them that their strength is in Your joy. Amen.
