PRAYING FOR OUR CHILDREN - Day 19

Day 19 - Humility

Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work. To speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to HIS mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by HIS grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.
Titus 3:1-8 (NKJV)

Dear Lord, in the name of Jesus, I pray that You cultivate in my children the ability to show true humility to each other and to all. Teach them to submit to authority in their lives. Train their mouths and their words to be good and not speak evil of or to anyone. We have all made mistakes and been disobedient to You, Father, but You are faithful to forgive us because of Your kindness and Your unconditional love. It is by YOUR mercy that we are saved, not by anything that we have done or will do. Show my children Your mercy. Justify them through Your grace and make them to see their hope of eternal life with You, Lord. Help them to see that this will profit them in their lives. Teach them humility is a good thing. Amen

All caught up!

I receive every word of God spoken this month and every prayer prayed, not only for myself but for my children.

In times of difficulty, we sometimes forget what valuable assets God has given to us.

Thank God for praying mothers.
I thank God for you today.
I love your guts!
