PRAYING FOR OUR CHILDREN - Day 8

Day 8 - Mercy

Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord --that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.
James 5:11

But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.
Titus 3:4-8

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works.
Psalm 145:8&9

Dear Lord, in the name of Jesus, I come to You today on behalf of my children. I stand in the gap and intercede just as Jesus intercedes on my behalf. I ask You to show mercy to my children and cause my children to be full of mercy and compassion just as you are, Lord. Lord, let them know that it is YOUR mercy that saves them. They can be joint heirs with Jesus according to this blessed hope of eternal life. Lord, teach them that they are your works and your mercies are all over them. Amen
