Your Lovingkindness This Morning

Hear my prayer, Oh Lord, give ear to my supplications:

in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.

Psalm 143:1

I just love this scripture. God hears my cries of desperation. God answers me. I am so thankful God does this out of HIS faithfulness and HIS righteousness (see above: THY faithfulness and THY righteousness). It is not about me. It is about HIM. He does it for me because HE is faithful and HE is righteous.

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning;

for in thee I do trust;

cause me to know the way wherein I should walk;

for I lift up my soul unto thee.

Psalm 143:8

I believe this is the scripture that inspired Mark Carouthers to pen the song, "Lord, Let the Morning Bring You To Me".



My Precious Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, come to me this morning. Hear my cry. Show me YOUR faithfulness. Show me YOUR righteousness. Answer me in Your lovingkindness THIS very morning. Show me the way in which You would have me go. I give my all to You. I trust You and You only. I surely need Your lovingkindness this morning. Amen
