Camping with grandchildren is so much fun. We have so many that we have to split it all up. In June, we camped with Josh & Desiree and their children, Mason, Adisyn and Izzabella. It was at a family reunion and we enjoyed camping with them so much. Izzabella was just a month old and Desi was so good to share her with all of us. You never really knew for sure whose campsite she was at but it was usually at my mothers (Grannyma). Adisyn loved it because she loves dirt and loves it all over her. Mason was so much fun too. I think he really enjoyed meeting new family members. There was a steady stream of traffic between trailers and you just absolutely have to forget saying "Shut the door".
Two weeks ago we took a trip with Randy & Lori and their kiddos, Kyle and Brooke. We decided at the last minute to see if Jeremy and Mandi would let us take Josiah and Ava Beth. They said we could and, believe it or not, did not give us any rules other than "take care of my babies".
We went to Daingerfield State Park. Kyle and Brooke got to skip school for a couple of days. Josiah is home schooled but he continued his education while taking his nature walk and collecting lots of "leafs". One day he will learn "leaves" but "leafs" is fine now.
All of our grandchildren (8 of them) are precious to us and we enjoy our time with them. I wish there was a way to get everyone together but it just never seems to work out. Camping is great family fun.
By the way, our way of camping is in RVs. We are all over the whole tent thing.
