PRAYING FOR OUR CHILDREN - Day 23

Day 23 - Faith

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
I Timothy 6:12

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Hebrews 11:1-2 (NKJV)

For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
Romans 12:3 (NKJV)

Dear Lord, in the name of Jesus, I pray that my children will fight the good fight of faith. I pray that they take hold of the eternal life to which they were called. I pray that they understand exactly what faith is -- things they hope for and yet do not see, still they have belief and faith that You will do everything You say You will do for them. Their faith will give them a good testimony. Your spoken Word formed this world. There are so many things we see but now that they came from You and things we could not see. You have given my children grace. Help them to not think more highly of themselves but know that You gave each and every one of us a measure of faith. Teach my children how to build their faith and their trust in ONLY You. Amen
