Day 24 - A Servant's Heart

Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free. And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.
Ephesians 6:5-9 (NKJV)

Oh my Precious Lord, in the name of Jesus, I pray that my children truly have the heart of a servant. Give them submissiveness to those in authority. Father, most of all, draw my children so to Your heart that they would serve You freely. Let them not be men-pleasers but God-pleasers. Father, I pray that whoever is in authority over my children, whether it is Pastors, Parents or Work-place Authority, that they would be kind and gracious to my children. Give my children favor in their work-places so that they may provide for themselves and their families. I pray that my children serve wholeheartedly where they are called to serve. I pray that all my children serve You, my Precious Lord, as You are truly their Master and You show no partiality. Amen
