PRAYING FOR OUR CHILDREN - Day 27

Day 27 - Passion for the Lord

As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my food day and night, while they continually say to me, "Where is your God?" When I remember these things, I pour out my soul within me, For I used to go with the multitude; I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept the pilgrims feast. Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.
Psalm 41:1-5 (NIV)

O Lord, in the name of Jesus, I pray that my children would have a PASSION for You. Just as the deer pants for the water, I pray they thirst for You so much that nothing else will satisfy them. Dry their tears and let them know where You are. May they pour out their souls to You. Give them a voice of joy and of praise only for You. I pray they are no longer cast down but that their hunger and PASSION for You would cause them to rise up for they have hope in You. I pray that You look upon my children today and they will praise You. For You and You alone are worthy of praise. Amen.
