PRAYING FOR OUR CHILDREN - Day 28

Day 28 - Wisdom

Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding; for her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, and her gain that fine gold. She is more precious than rubies, and all the things you may desire cannot compare with her. Length of days is in her right hand, in her left hand riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her. And happy are all who retain her.

Get WISDOM! Get understanding!
Proverbs 4:5 (NKJV)

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of WISDOM, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For by me your days will be multiplied, and years of life will be added to you.
Proverbs 9:10-11 (NKJV)

. . . "WISDOM is better than strength, nevertheless the poor man's WISDOM is despised, and his words are not heard. Words of the wise, spoken quietly, should be heard rather than the shout of a ruler of fools. WISDOM is better than weapons of war; But one sinner destroys much good."

Dear Lord, in the name of Jesus, I come to You today asking for YOUR WISDOM in my children. I pray they ASK You for YOUR WISDOM and give it to them generously just as You have promised. The knowledge of You, O Lord, is true understanding. YOUR WISDOM will multiply their days and life will be added to them. Let them know that YOUR WISDOM is strength when they are weak. Help them to see that YOUR WISDOM is more precious than silver, gold or rubies. There is nothing my children can desire could ever compare with YOUR WISDOM. For in WISDOM is pleasantness and peaceful will be their ways. WISDOM is the tree of life and I pray my children grab hold of its branches and hold tight. May they retain YOUR WISDOM. Amen
